One such system features double RF systems that combine inputs from an RF scale and a portable RF bar code reader to automate shipping steel slabs. Another system developed by MDC provides automated collection of images and shop floor data for a commercial heat treater. The product to be processed is photographed on entry into the facility and again when it is made up into heats for the furnaces. The system doubles as a tracking and an archival system. |
